Displaying Invoice Payment Options Based on Specific Customers and Groups
Prestashop Invoice Payment Option module offers customized options for payment methods for specific customers and groups. This is especially useful to offer the right payment method to the right customer to reduce cart abandonment. To integrate this functionality to your store:
1. Install the PrestaShop Invoice Payment Option Module
Begin by installing and activating the module that enables invoice payments. Make sure that it is compatible with your PrestaShop version.
2. Access the “Rules” Tab
Navigate to the module’s settings page, and click on the “Rules” tab. This is where you can create and manage custom rules for displaying invoice payment options.
3. Add a New Rule
Click on the “+” button to add a new rule. This will open a form where you can configure the settings for the rule.
4. Configure the Rule Settings
Rule Enable: Toggle this option to enable or disable the rule as needed.
Title: Enter a description that will be displayed during checkout when customers choose the “Pay by Invoice” option.
Priority: Assign a priority to the rule (1 is the highest). Higher-priority rules will take precedence over others.
Customer Group: Select the customer group (e.g., VIP customers, wholesalers) for which this rule will apply.
Customer: If the rule applies to specific individual customers, specify them here.
5. Save the Rule
After configuring the rule according to your preferences, save it. The invoice payment option will now be visible only to the specified customer groups or individual customers during checkout.
