Limiting Product Listing Tables by Category and Customer Groups
This module supports limiting product listing tables by category and customer groups in PrestaShop. By following these instructions, you can customize product displays based on specific categories and customer groups.
Install and activate the PrestaShop Products Table List View module.
Click on the “Rules” to manage rules for product listing tables.
To create a new rule, click on the “+” button.
Title: Enter a descriptive title for the rule.
Priority: Enter a numeric value for the rule’s priority.
Active: Toggle to enable or disable the rule.
Enable Group: Enable or disable group access for the rule.
- Group: Select the customer group(s) that will have access to the table.
Enable Category: Enable or disable categories for the rule.
- Categories: Select the categories that will be affected by the rule.
Save the New Rule:
After entering the necessary details, click “Save” to create the new rule.
Products Displayed in Table Format:
Because of the rule created, the products under the specific category (e.g. electronics) are displayed in a table format for the selected customer group
For regular customers, the products are displayed in the default format, without the table view applied by the rule.
