How to Create a Rule to Add Multiple Quick Buy Buttons?

Adding a New Rule

PrestaShop Quick Buy Now Button with Redirection module lets you create targeted rules to show the Quick Buy Now button on specific products, for certain customer groups, and even on a schedule.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to creating a rule to add multiple Quick Buy buttons in PrestaShop:

Step 1: Install and Activate the Module

  • Begin by installing and activating the PrestaShop Quick Buy Now Button with Redirection module in your PrestaShop dashboard.
  • Ensure the module is correctly configured and visible in your admin panel.

Step 2: Access the Rules Tab

Navigate to the Rules tab in the module settings. This is where you can manage existing rules and create new ones.

Step 3: Start Adding a New Rule

To create a new rule, click the “+” button located in the top-right corner. This action will open a form to configure various options for the rule.

Step 4: Configure Basic Rule Details

Title: Enter a descriptive name for the rule to help you easily identify it later.

Priority: Set the priority level of the rule. Higher priority rules will take precedence over others if multiple rules conflict.

Active Status: Choose whether to enable or disable this rule. You can return and toggle it as needed.

Step 5: Define Customer Group Selection

Customer Group Selection: Specify if the rule should apply only to certain customer groups.

  • Specify Customer Groups: If enabled, select which customer groups (e.g., wholesale, registered members) should see the Quick Buy Now button.

Step 6: Choose Product and Category Targeting

All Products Option: Enable this setting if you want the Quick Buy button to display on all products in your store.

If disabled, continue with the following options:

Enable/Disable Specific Products: If limited to specific products, search and add them to the list.

Category Selection: Enable category-based rules to display the button on products within chosen categories.

Step 7: Set Quantity Options

Default Quantity: Set a standard purchase quantity that will be added to the cart when using the Quick Buy button.

Custom Fixed Quantity: Specify a fixed quantity customers must buy if they use the Quick Buy button for this rule.

Product Quantity Specification: Allow unique quantity settings for individual products based on the rule.

Step 8: Customize Button Appearance and Placement

Button Title: Enter the button text (e.g., “Buy Now” or “Quick Purchase”) that will be displayed to customers.

Button Placement: Choose the placement of the button on the product page:

  • Before Add to Cart Button: Display it above the standard “Add to Cart” button.
  • Replace Add to Cart Button: Replace the “Add to Cart” button with the “Quick Buy” button.
  • After Add to Cart Button: Display the button below the “Add to Cart” button.

Step 9: Define Redirect Options

Redirect to Cart: Automatically direct customers to their cart after they click the Quick Buy button.

Redirect to Checkout: Skip the cart and take customers directly to checkout.

Redirect to Custom URL: Specify a custom URL to direct customers to a specific page, such as a promotional or information page.

Step 10: Adjust Button Styling Options

Background Color: Choose a background color that matches your branding or highlights the button.

Text Color: Select a color for the button text for optimal readability.

Hover Color: Define the color change when customers hover over the button.

Font Size: Adjust the font size to enhance visibility and ensure it aligns with your store’s aesthetic.

Step 11: Schedule the Rule (Optional)

Enable Scheduling: Toggle this option to activate a start and end date for the rule.

  • Start Date: Set the starting date for when this rule should take effect.
  • End Date: Enter the ending date to automatically disable the rule once this date is reached.

Step 12: Save the Rule

Once all options are configured, click the “Save” button to activate your new rule.

The rule will now be displayed in the Rules log and applied based on the criteria you selected.
