How to Redirect Users to Cart, Checkout or Any Custom Link?

Redirecting Users to Cart, Checkout or Any Custom Link

Redirecting customers after they click the Quick Buy Now button is an essential feature for store owners. By directing users straight to their cart, checkout, or a specific landing page, you can guide them efficiently through the shopping journey and reduce cart abandonment rates. This feature also allows you to tailor the redirection path based on your business goals.

Follow these steps to configure the redirection options:

Step 1: Install and Activate the Module

Begin by installing and activating the PrestaShop Quick Buy Now Button with Redirection module in your store.

Ensure the module settings are accessible from your PrestaShop admin panel.

Step 2: Navigate to the Rules Tab

Go to the Rules tab within the module settings. This tab will display all your existing rules and allow you to create new ones.

Step 3: Add a New Rule

Click the “+” button located in the top-right corner of the Rules tab to start adding a new rule.

A configuration form will open where you can customize the Quick Buy Now button’s settings.

Step 4: Configure Basic Rule Details

Title: Enter a name for this rule, such as “Quick Buy to Cart” or “Direct Checkout.”

Priority: Set the priority level for the rule, where higher priority rules will take precedence over others if they conflict.

Active Status: Choose whether this rule is active. You can toggle it on or off as needed.

Step 5: Set Up Redirection Options

In the Redirect Options section, specify the action to take when a customer clicks the Quick Buy Now button. Choose from one of the following:

Redirect to Cart: Select this option if you want users to be directed to their cart page immediately after clicking the button. This option allows customers to review their selected items before proceeding to checkout.

Redirect to Checkout: Use this option if you want to skip the cart page and send customers directly to the checkout.

Redirect to Custom URL: Choose this if you want to direct users to a custom URL, such as a promotional landing page, product details, or an informational page. If selected, an additional field will appear to specify the URL.

Step 6: Save the Rule

Once all configurations are complete, click “Save” to activate the rule. The rule will now apply, and the Quick Buy Now button will follow the redirection path you defined for customers.

This feature allows you to control the user flow and guide them through the most convenient path toward completing their purchase.
