Configuring Registration Form Based on User Roles
To configure a dropdown to select the appropriate user role in the WooCommerce Custom Registration Forms Builder plugin, follow these steps:
- Go to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to WooCommerce > Registration Forms.
- Find the form you want to edit and click on “Edit.”
Configure User Roles Settings:
Inside the form editor, look for the “Accounts” section that allows you to configure form submission settings.
User Roles Options: This setting provides two options for configuring user roles on the registration form:
- Add User Roles Dropdown Field: This option allows you to add a dropdown field to the registration form where users can select their desired user role.
- Dropdown User Roles: Choose the desired role from the dropdown:
- Administrator
- Editor
- Author
- Contributor
- Subscriber
- Customer
- Shop manager
- Wholesale
- B2B
- Retailer
- Dropdown User Roles: Choose the desired role from the dropdown:
- Assign Default User Role: This option allows you to set a default user role that will be assigned to users upon form submission.
- Default User Role: Select the desired default user role from the available options:
- Administrator
- Editor
- Author
- Contributor
- Subscriber
- Customer
- Shop manager
- Wholesale
- B2B
- Retailer
- Default User Role: Select the desired default user role from the available options:
Save Changes:
After configuring the user roles settings, make sure to save the changes to the form.
