Allowing Price Flexibility by User Role
With the WooCommerce Name Your Price plugin, you can easily implement price flexibility based on user roles.
- Go to WooCommerce > Name Your Prices > Order list in your WordPress admin panel.
- Click on “Add New Rule”.
- Next, give a unique, descriptive “title” to the rule.
- In the “Rules” section, select the “user roles” you want to apply the rule to. You can choose from the following options in the drop-down menu:
- Administrator
- Editor
- Author
- Contributor
- Subscriber
- Customer
- Shop Manager
- Wholesale
- B2B
- Retailer
- Guest
- Configure any additional settings for the rule according to your requirements.
- Click on the “Publish” button to save the changes
However, if you want to grant user role based price flexibility using the pre-existing rules, follow these steps:
- Navigate to WooCommerce > Name Your Prices > Order List. This will display a list of all the existing rules.
- Select the rule you wish to modify and click the associated “Edit” button.
- Replace the existing user role with the desired user role.
- Finally, click on the “Update” button to save the changes.
