Setting Up Private Store in WooCommerce 

Configuring General Settings 

Choosing the Right Login/Registration Form 

Start by selecting the form type that you want your customers to log in and register. Navigate to Private Shop > General Settings > Display & Background Settings to get started. 

Login/Registration Page:

1. WooCommerce Default: Choose this option if you want to add default login and registration forms provided by WooCommerce 

2. Addify Designed Page: This option lets you create a custom-designed login and registration page for your store. Choosing this will unveil the following additional customization options:

  • Login Title: Set the title displayed on the login form.
  • Signup Title: Set the title displayed on the registration form.
  • Background Options: Customize the form background. You can choose from five options:
    • None
    • Color
    • Image
    • Youtube Video
    • Custom Video 
  • Background Colour: Define the background color of the login/registration form 
  • Background Image: Set the background image.
    • Upload an image either from:
      • Computer
      • Media Library
  • Custom Video (Addify Designed Page): Upload a custom video for login/signup page
  • YouTube Video (Addify Designed Page): Embed a YouTube video using its ID.
  • Form Background Opacity: Control background transparency (0 to 1).
  • Enable Signup: Enable or disable user registration.
  • Upload Logo: Add a logo for branding on the registration/login page.

3. Custom URL: With this option, you can specify a custom web address (URL) where your login/registration page is located

Click “Save Changes” to apply the settings 

Managing Access Control Settings

Privatize: Choose to either privatize the entire website or select specific categories, products, or pages for restriction. You can select between:

  • Whole Website:
  • Selected Items

Redirect After Login: Select the destination where users should be redirected after they log in. The options include:

  • My Account
  • Back to Same Page
  • Custom URL 

Allowed IPs: Specify a list of IP addresses, separated by commas, that you want to grant access to

Allow Google to crawl: Decide whether you want to permit Google’s searchbot to access your webstore for SEO purposes. You can choose “Yes” to allow access or “No” to restrict access.

Click “Save Changes” to apply the settings 

Enable Manual Appoval of New Registrations 

Enable Manually Approve New Customers: Enable to make new customers require manual approval by the administrator before they can access their accounts

Message for Users when Account is pending for approval: Enter the message that will be displayed to users when their accounts are pending approval

Approval Email Subject: Customize the subject line of the awaiting approval email 

Approval Email Message: Customize the content of the awaiting approval email

Approved Email Subject: The subject line of the approved registration email 

Approved Email Message: The content of the approved registration email 

Click “Save Changes” to apply the settings 

Managing Users in a Gridview 

Go to User > All Users and select the user on which you want to perform any action. The grid interface of Private Store for WooCommerce offers a comprehensive set of actions that you can take with just a few clicks:

  • Edit: Quickly modify customer details as needed.
  • Delete: Remove unwanted customer accounts effortlessly.
  • View: Access customer profiles for a deeper understanding of their interactions.
  • Send Password Reset: Conveniently send password reset instructions to customers
