How to Add a Tooltip to an Add On?

Adding a Tooltip to an Add On

Go to Products > Product Add Ons > Edit an existing Add On > Fields.

There are two ways you can add a tooltip. 

1. Add tooltip in an existing field
2. Add a tooltip when creating a new field

Add Tooltip in an Existing Field:

• Select an existing field to view the details.
• Go to ‘Add Tooltip.’ 
• Checkmark the box to enable the tooltip for the specific field.
• In the ‘Description’ field, enter the text that you want to display as a tooltip.

Add Tooltip When Creating a New Field:

• Click ‘Add Field’ to create a new field for a product Add On.
• Go to ‘Add Tooltip.’ 
• Checkmark the box to enable the tooltip for the specific field.
• In the ‘Description’ field, enter the text you want to display as a tooltip.

Not only does the plugin allow you to add a tooltip, but you can also customize it according to your requirements. WooCommerce Product Option and Fields plugin supports the following customizations for the tooltip from the style settings: 

• Tooltip Background Color: Select the tooltip background color as suited.
• Tooltip Text Color: Select a desired tooltip text color.
• Tooltip Font Size: Enter the tooltip font size. 

Note: Size will be in px. In case of empty, the default value will be 12px.
