Customizing Discount Emails and Product Review Forms
Get the step-by-step instructions for customizing discount emails and product review forms using the WooCommerce Smart Product Review (SP) plugin.
Ensure you have installed and activated the WooCommerce Smart Product Review plugin.
Log in to your WooCommerce admin panel.
Navigate to WooCommerce > Smart Product Review > Coupon/Discount Settings.
Configure Discount Email Settings:
Coupon Only to Registered Customer: Check the box to provide coupons to customers with registered email accounts when their reviews are approved.
Coupon Only to Verified Owner: Check the box to provide coupons to customers with verified purchases when their reviews are approved.
Include Product: Choose the desired products that the coupon will be applied to.
Exclude Product: Choose the desired products that the coupon will not be applied to.
Include Categories: Choose the desired categories that the coupon will be applied to.
Exclude Categories: Choose the desired categories that the coupon will not be applied to.
Coupon Expiry: Enter the number of days in the provided field.
Rating: Choose the minimum rating (1-star to 5-star).
Discount Type: Select the type of discount the coupon will provide. The available options are:
- Percentage Discount
- Fixed Cart Discount
- Fixed Product Discount
Coupon Amount: Enter the discount amount.
Coupon Notification Message in User Email: Enter the custom message using the placeholders as needed.
After configuring the settings, click the “Save Changes” button to apply the changes.
Customizing the Product Review Form
Log in to your WooCommerce admin panel.
Navigate to WooCommerce > Smart Product Review > Additional Fields in Review Form.
Add a New Field to the Review Form:
Click on “Add New Field”.
Add Title: Enter the title in the provided field.
Field Details:
- Field Label: Enter the label text.
- Field Type: Choose the desired field type:
- Text Field
- Textarea
- Checkbox
- Radio Button
- Placeholder: Enter the placeholder text.
- Required Field: Check the box if the field should be required.
- Required Message: Enter the required message in the provided field.
After providing all the details, click “Publish” to add the new field to the review form.
