Customizing the Component Selection Fields
Configurable Products Builder for WooCommerce allows you to customize the component selection fields to present product information in a way that is clear and relevant to your customers. This helps them understand exactly what they are selecting and what to expect when they make a choice, reducing confusion and potential dissatisfaction. To customize component selection fields using the plugin, follow these steps:
- Access your WordPress dashboard, click on Products, and then Add New.
- Within the “Product Data” panel, choose “Configurable Product” as the product type.
- Now, proceed to the “Components” tab to add new components to your product.
- In the advanced settings section, locate the option labeled “Selection Detail Visibility.”
- Within the “Selection Detail Visibility” option, enable the checkboxes to determine what information you want to display to users for the selected component product. You can choose to display:
- Title
- Description
- Thumbnail
- Price
- Stock
Check the boxes for the details you want to show to users for the selected component product.
Click on “Update” or “Publish” to apply the settings.
