Rule Creation Setting

Manage Rules for In-Stock Priority Sorting

Rules: The module offers flexibility to create, update, and delete rules that control the priority sorting of in-stock products.

Access the “Rules” tab to view all active and inactive rules. From this list, you can:

  • Perform bulk actions, such as enabling or disabling multiple rules.
  • Create new rules for targeted product sorting.
  • Edit existing rules to update sorting conditions.
  • Change the status of individual rules for quick adjustments.

Creating a New Priority Sorting Rule for In-Stock Products

Click the “+” button to create a new rule. Provide the following details for comprehensive configuration:

Rule: Toggle to activate or deactivate the rule. Activation applies all specified conditions, while deactivation prevents it from impacting product sorting.

Name: Assign a unique name to this rule for easy identification and future management.

Priority: Specify a numeric priority level. Lower numbers indicate higher priority, controlling the sequence in which rules are applied.

Choose Groups: Choose whether sorting should apply based on specific customer groups. Select groups to apply priority sorting.

All Store: Enabling this option applies sorting based on stock status across all products.

Disabling it reveals additional options for further customization:

  • Choose Categories: Enable this setting to prioritize in-stock products within selected categories.
  • Choose Manufacturer: Apply sorting preferences based on specified manufacturers.
  • Choose Supplier: Enable prioritization for products supplied by specific suppliers.

Enable Scheduler: Specify a time frame for the rule’s activity and allow it to be enabled or disabled automatically based on set dates.

  • Start Date: Enter the start date in a valid format (MM/DD/YYYY).
  • End Date: Set an end date, ensuring it’s after the start date for valid scheduling.
