Offering Discounts on Gift Cards?
WooCommerce stores don’t have built-in discount functionality, you can install WooCommerce Gift Cards to enable discount options for gift cards.
To offer discounts on gift cards in WooCommerce, you can follow these steps:
- Go to WP Admin Panel > Products > Add New to create a new gift card.
- Add ‘Product Name’ and description.
- Specify ‘Product Data.’ Select Gift Card from the dropdown option.
- Select ‘Discount Type’ from two available options:
- Fixed
- Percentage
- Enter ‘Discount Amount.’
- Select ‘Publish.’
For Fixed Discounts, when you enter a discount amount, i.e., 100, this amount will be deducted from the total value.
For Percentage Discounts, when you enter a discount amount, i.e., 10, this is the percentage amount that will be deducted from the total value.
Offering discounts on gift cards ultimately boosts your sales and customer engagement.
