This guide provides a step-by-step process to offer a cooling period right after the subscription, allowing cancellations using the Woo Subscription Cancellation Custom Rules plugin. Follow these instructions to set up your subscription cancellation settings effectively.

Install and Activate the Plugin:

  • Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
  • Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
  • Search for “Woo Subscription Cancellation Custom Rules”.
  • Click Install Now next to the plugin.

Activate the Plugin:

  • Once installed, click Activate to enable the plugin.

Access Product Settings:

  • Go to Products: In the WordPress admin panel, go to Products.
  • Select a Product: Choose the product for which you want to configure subscription cancellation rules.

Locate Product Data:

Enable Cooling Period:

  • Check the option to enable a cooling period. The cooling period is the time before the start of the cancellation rule during which no cancellation rule settings will be applied.

Enter Cooling Period:

  • Specify the length of the cooling period. The cooling period must be shorter than or equal to the starting time.

Update the Product:

  • Save Changes: After configuring the rules, click on the Update button to apply the changes to the product.
