Restricting Cash on Delivery Fee by Amount of Cart
To restrict the Cash on Delivery (COD) fee by the amount of the cart using the WooCommerce Advanced COD with Fee plugin, you can apply cart-based restrictions by following these steps:
Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
Navigate to “WooCommerce” and select “Advanced COD.”
Click on the “Restriction” tab and then choose “Cart Based.”
Range of Cart Amount
Enable/Disable Option: Toggle the “Enable/Disable” option to either enable or disable Cash on Delivery for specific cart amount ranges.
Specify Cart Amount Range: Set the lower and upper limits for the cart’s total amount range.
Cart Total Amount to Evaluate: Choose which total should be considered for the cart total amount:
- Cart Subtotal (Sum of Product Prices): The cart total is based on the sum of product prices in the cart
Cart Total (Sum of Product Prices + Tax + Shipping Cost + Any Extra Cost): The cart total includes product prices, tax, shipping costs, and any additional fees
Cart Products
Cart Products: Toggle the “Enable/Disable” option to enable or disable Cash on Delivery for specific products or product categories.
Choose from the following options:
- All Products: The cart should contain all the specified products for the COD option to be enabled or disabled.
- At Least One Product: At least one of the specified products should be in the cart to enable or disable the COD.
Specify the products or categories you want to include for these restrictions.
Shipping Classes
Shipping Classes: Toggle the “Enable/Disable” option to enable or disable Cash on Delivery for specific shipping classes.
Choose from the following options:
- All Products in Cart: The COD option will be available if all products in the cart belong to the specified shipping classes.
- Any Product in Cart: The COD option will be available if at least one product in the cart belongs to any of the specified shipping classes.
Specify the shipping classes you want to include for these restrictions.
By setting up these cart-based restrictions, you can control when the Cash on Delivery option is available based on the cart’s contents, including the cart amount, specific products or categories, and shipping classes. Remember to save your settings after making changes.
