How to Show and Restrict Cash on Delivery Fee by User Roles in WooCommerce Advanced Cash on Delivery with Fee?

Showing and Restricting Cash on Delivery Fee by User Role

To show and restrict Cash on Delivery (COD) fees by user roles using the WooCommerce Advanced Cash on Delivery with Fee plugin, follow these steps:

Navigate to your WordPress dashboard.

Go to “WooCommerce” and select “Advanced COD.”

Click on the “Restriction” tab and then choose “Customer Based.”

Enable/Disable Option: Toggle the “Enable/Disable” option based on whether you want to enable or disable Cash on Delivery for specific customers and user roles.

Select Customers: Search and select the specific customers to whom you want to apply the restriction. If you disable it, the COD option will not be displayed for these selected customers.

Select Customer Roles: Choose the user roles for which you want to apply the restriction. Available roles include:

  • Administrator
  • Editor
  • Author
  • Contributor
  • Subscriber
  • Customer
  • Shop manager
  • Wholesale
  • B2B
  • Retailer

Enable/Disable for Guest: Decide whether to enable or disable Cash on Delivery for guest users (users who are not logged in).

By following these steps, you can customize the behavior of the Advanced COD plugin based on customer types and roles. This allows you to control which users see the Cash on Delivery option and apply restrictions to specific user roles or individual customers. Remember to save your settings after making changes.
