Applying Checkout Restrictions Based on User Roles in WooCommerce

Follow these steps if you want to apply checkout restrictions based on user roles using the WooCommerce Cart and Order Restrictions plugin: 

  • Navigate to WooCommerce > Order Restriction > Add New Rule.
  • Choose a descriptive name for your rule
  • Select the appropriate rule type from the following six available options:
    • Product Quantity Base
    • Category Quantity Base
    • Total Order Amount Base
    • Total Order Quantity Base
    • Shipping Method
    • Payment Method
  • Next, scroll down to the “User Option” section, where you can define which user roles and customers should be affected by this rule.
    • Choose the specific user roles to which you want to apply this rule
    • Select the individual users to whom you want this rule to apply
  • Configure other rule settings and click Publish to save the changes.
