Applying Price Changes on Multiple Products in Bulk
You can apply price changes in bulk on multiple products in WooCommerce using the WooCommerce role-based pricing plugin. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to apply price changes globally.
Go to WP Admin Panel > Role Based Pricing to adjust the rule-based pricing in bulk.
Adding a New Rule:
- Click on an option to add a new rule. This is where you’ll configure the bulk price adjustment.
- Add a unique title for the rule for future reference.
Rule Details:
- Rule Priority: Enter a number between 0 and 100 to specify the priority of this rule. Lower numbers indicate higher priority (1 is high, and 100 is low).
- Apply on All Products: Check this box if you want the rule to apply to all products on your site. If you leave it unchecked, you can select specific products or categories for the rule to apply.
Role-Based Pricing (By Customers):
- Customer: Select a specific customer to apply the pricing rule. This allows you to create custom pricing for individual customers.
- Adjustment Type: Choose one of the adjustment types, such as Fixed Price, Fixed Increase, Fixed Decrease, Percentage Increase, or Percentage Decrease.
- Value: Add the value for the adjustment based on the chosen adjustment type.
- Min Qty: Enter a minimum quantity for the customer to qualify for this pricing rule.
- Max Qty: Optionally, enter a maximum quantity for the customer.
- Replace Original Price?: Check this option if you want the adjusted price to replace the original price for the selected customer.
- Remove: Use this option to remove the rule for the selected customer.
Role-Based Pricing (By User Roles):
- User Role: Select a specific user role (e.g., Subscriber, Wholesale Customer) to apply the pricing rule.
- Adjustment Type: Choose an adjustment type similar to the one selected for customers.
- Value: Add the value for the adjustment based on the chosen adjustment type.
- Min Qty: Enter a minimum quantity for the user role to qualify for this pricing rule.
- Max Qty: Optionally, enter a maximum quantity for the user role.
- Replace Original Price?: Check this option if you want the adjusted price to replace the original price for the selected user role.
- Remove: Use this option to remove the rule for the selected user role.
After configuring the rule details for bulk price adjustment, make sure to save the changes. The pricing rules will then apply to the selected customers or user roles and their associated products.
