Showing Custom Error Notifications for Restricted Users
To show custom error notifications for restricted users, you can follow these steps:
Go to Role Based Pricing > Settings to configure the plugin’s general settings.
Within the general settings, you will find options for customizing error messages for restricted users. There are three types of error messages you can configure:
Min Qty Error Message: This is the message that will be displayed if a user tries to add a quantity less than the minimum allowed.
Enter your custom message in the “Min Qty Error Message” field. For example, you could enter something like: “Minimum order quantity is [X]. Please adjust your quantity.”
Max Qty Error Message: This message will be shown if a user adds a quantity greater than the maximum allowed.
Enter your custom message in the “Max Qty Error Message” field. For instance, you could use: “Maximum order quantity exceeded. You can order up to [Y] units.”
Update Cart Error Message: When a user attempts to update a product in their cart but encounters an issue related to quantity restrictions, this message will be displayed.
Customize this message in the “Update Cart Error Message” field. For example, you might input: “Quantity update failed. Please review the product quantity restrictions.”
After entering your custom error messages, be sure to save the changes within the Role Based Pricing settings.
