To restrict refunds by customer groups in PrestaShop, you can utilize the refund rules feature available in the PrestaShop Smart Refund module. Here’s how you can set it up:

Go to Modules > Module Manager > Addify Refund System and click “Configure”. 

Access the refund rules section within the PrestaShop Smart Refund module.

To create a new refund rule, click on the “+” button to add a new rule.

Fill in the required options in the “Add Rule” form:

  • Rule Enable: Choose “Yes” to activate the rule
  • Title: Enter a unique title for the rule to easily identify its purpose
  • Priority: Set a priority for the rule to determine its order of execution if multiple rules are applicable
  • Groups: Select the specific customer group(s) you want to apply the rule to. This restricts the rule to only be applicable to the selected customer groups

By configuring refund rules with customer group restrictions, you can ensure that refund eligibility and conditions are tailored to specific customer segments, providing more control over the refund process and aligning it with your business policies and customer group differentiations.
