Adding Reasons for Refund in Refund Requests
To allow customers to select a reason for refunds in PrestaShop using the PrestaShop Smart Refund module, follow these steps:
- Open the Refund Module Settings: Go to Modules > Module Manager > Addify Refund System and click “Configure.”
- Access the Return Reason List: Navigate to the Return Reason List section to view all existing return reasons.
- Click the “+” button to add a new reason, then fill out the following details in the Add Reason form:
- Reason Enable: Toggle this option to enable or disable the reason for return.
- Reason Title: Enter a title for the reason, such as “Reason for Return.”
- Reason: Specify the reason for the return such as; “Size not right,” “Product damaged” etc.
- Shipping Paid By: Select who will be responsible for return shipping costs.
- Save the New Reason: Click “Save” to add this reason to the list of available options.
- By setting up reasons for refunds, customers can select the reason that best fits their return, which aids in tracking and analyzing common issues or feedback related to products.
