Getting a Direct Cart Link Once a Quote has been Accepted
Once a quote has been accepted, you can obtain a direct cart link. This provides a convenient and streamlined process for customers to review the quoted items, make any necessary modifications, and proceed to the checkout with the accepted quote.
Using the Prestashop Request a Quote module, you can carry out this functionality in simple steps.
- Access your Prestashop admin panel.
- Navigate to the “Modules” section and locate the “Request a Quote” module.
- Open the module settings and locate “Quotations”
- Edit any quote with the status “Accepted.” Edit this quote and click on “Generate Cart URL.”
- Once clicked, the module will send a direct link to users
This link can be shared with the customer, allowing them to proceed directly to the cart with the quoted products and their accepted prices pre-populated
