Keeping Both Add to Cart and Add to Quote Buttons
PrestaShop Request a Quote module offers a feature that allows for flexibility in customer choices, catering to those who prefer instant purchases and those who require quotation-based transactions.
If you want to keep both the “Add to Cart” and “Add to Quote” buttons on your Prestashop store using the Request a Quote module, you can follow these steps:
- Access your Prestashop admin panel.
- Go to the “Modules” section and locate the “Request a Quote” module.
- Open the module settings, and locate “Addify Request a Quote Rules”. Click on “+” to add a new rule or edit an existing rule to apply the restriction.
- While creating a rule, disable the option “Hide Add to Cart Button”.
- Locate “Button Text” and enter a custom text for a quotation.
- Save the changes and check your storefront.
By configuring these settings, both buttons will be visible for your products. Customers can choose to either add the product to the cart for immediate purchase or add it to the quote list to request a quotation for a negotiated price or quantity.
